Produce
Eat your vegetables (and fruits)
Folks flock to us for our vast selection of fresh produce! We are proud to offer many products from local farms. Eating local keeps us and our local economy healthy, not to mention the environment, with reduced delivery miles and sound growing practices. Everybody wins when eating local!
We complement our local fruit and vegetable choices with both organic and conventional high-quality produce that is not local. After all, Vermont’s growing season is limited. Combining the two, we do a great job of supplying our community with a wide variety of healthy, fresh produce, year-round. We make it easy to “eat the rainbow”!
Check out our new, bigger and more energy-efficient produce case that we installed early in 2021. It allows us to stock more fruits and veggies, and it makes the rainbow of produce in it even prettier!
Fresh Corn on the Cob and Mini Watermelons
Celebrate summer a little bit early with organic, mini watermelon and fresh ears of corn on the cob, which can be found now in our produce cooler. Taste summer now!

Co-manager: Produce
I live in South Royalton and love to create things – anything. I’m neurodivergent and part of the lovely queer community!
As of 2023 I have been working at the Co-op for two years, both in grocery and produce and am very excited to now be one half of the produce management team.
I love co-ops because of the connection with the community. I love being able to smile at customers and watch their kids play around the store. We really have something special! I also love the people I work with. I have an entire work family, where we support each other and work together as a team. That’s my favorite part about working here.
