SoRo artist, Gisele MacHarg, pictured with husband and assistant curator, Michael MacHarg, is back with an all new exhibition in our Art Space! This one is entitled, “Cherchez L’Homme!, which is French – as is our artist – for “Look for the man!” which is a play on the French saying, “Look for the woman!” because all of the figures in this exhibit are women except for a lone man. Typical of Gisele’s work, these pieces are based mostly on widely recognizable masterpieces that she interprets masterfully herself through color and fiber instead of paint.
