We have a live, local cheese and pairings demo happening from 1-4 PM tomorrow at the Co-op! Our lovely rep from Provisions International in West Lebanon, NH, Jesse Barrows will be offering Pawlet, an Italian-style Vermont Toma from Woodlawn Creamery in Pawlet, VT and Quinby, a small-batch farmstead goat cheese from Barn First Creamery in Westfield, VT, the farmer-cheesemakers who are taking over Lazy Lady’s operation as Laini Fondilier eases into retirement after making cheese since 1987. Our cheesemonger, Elizabeth has cornichons, a new fig jam from Tunisia, Onesto gluten free crackers and a perfect baguette to pair with these very special cheeses. We don’t currently carry the Quimby, so let Elizabeth know if you want her to carry it! Join us for the tasty fun and learning!
