The fabulous fiber art of Gisele MacHarg, South Royalton, is brightening our Art Space once again! As a girl in France, Gisele was inspired by talented family members and on a visit to Le Louvre Museum with her father, the world of art was opened up to her. Many of her pieces, which are made with recycled wool that she hand dyes on her woodstove, reference paintings, often by classical masters. Gisele has been busy creating new hooked rugs for her “Animals Big and Small” show which will be up through February. This fine art is a must see as it is sure to inspire. There is something for everyone and all pieces are for sale. These works make special gifts! You can also check out her website at giselesstudio.com. Supporting local art not only strengthens our local economy, but also our local culture!
